Jsean Acres was started by its ambitious leader and founder Ritah Atwikirize back in 2015 with cultivating and distribution of strawberries. Back then, all strawberries on the Ugandan shelf were imported and I put a challenge upon myself to produce strawberries locally.

The market expanded and kept expanding that I had to train other farmers to satisfy the growing market. I added button mushrooms and blueberries to my product list. Which I am still importing but remotely working on producing them locally as well.

My desire is to add a hint of exotic fruits and vegetables on the Ugandans' menu.

Strawberries

Strawberries are small, red, juicy fruits. They are characterized by their sweet and slightly tart flavor, vibrant red color, and small, edible seeds that dot the surface of the fruit.
